Unlock Your Radiance with BBL Hero Photofacial!

Smooth skin awaits

BBL Hero Photofacial

BBL HERO stands for BroadBand light (BBL®) high energy rapid output (HERO). BroadBand® light, a type of IPL (intense pulsed light) device, differs from traditional lasers: lasers use a narrowly focused wavelength on the light spectrum, however, BBL uses a broad spectrum of light, to allow numerous wavelengths to enter the skin simultaneously. Not all IPL devices are the same, BBL’s innovations take this treatment to an entirely new level, to help trigger a skin healing response for collagen and elastin production, as well as improve many of the visible signs of aging. Sciton invented BBL HERO to allow medical practitioners to conduct treatments faster, safer, and better than ever before.

When you book a BBL Hero photofacial with B. Clear Aesthetics, your appointment will be preceded by an in-depth consultation to determine your needs. This allows us to discuss your skin type, your specific concerns, and the treatment area you’d like to address. We like to say that the BBL Hero is gentle enough for all skin types and sensitivities, but powerful enough to treat deeper skin concerns more than a normal facial could.

Forever Clear BBL

The Forever Clear BBL treatment is a great new addition to our acne program! It utilizes the power of BBL (Broad Band Light) to effectively help clear acne while complimenting the B. Clear Aesthetics acne program. This treatment works by delivering numerous wavelengths of light energy into the skin to target the acne causing bacteria, as well as stimulate and regenerate skin cells. It simultaneously uses a combination of blue, yellow, and infrared light to eliminate bacteria, reduce inflammation, and promote the body’s natural healing process. The light energy also breaks up excess melanin and stimulates collagen production which can help to reduce the appearance of pigmentation and uneven skin texture. This treatment is typically done in a series of about 3-6 treatments with quarterly or semi annual visits for maintenance.

    • Active acne

    • Acne scars

    • Uneven tone and texture

    • Sun damage

    • Age spots

  • The Forever Clear BBL treatment takes about 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area. We first start with a gentle cleanse, and apply a cooling gel to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. The BBL handpiece is then applied to the skin and delivers bursts of light into the skin.

  • There is little to no downtime associated with this treatment. There may be some mild redness and swelling in the treatment area which will subside in the next few hours to a few days. It is important to avoid any heat, sun exposure, or sweating for the next 24-48 hours, as well as use a broad spectrum SPF for several days following the treatment. We advise our acne clients to avoid using their active acne products for the next few days. Your esthetician will go over in detail the exact post care instructions they'd like you to follow.

    • Avoid sun exposure, either naturally or through the use of tanning beds (including self-tanning methods) for at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment.

    • Avoid products containing retinol, Retin-A, glycolic acid, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs), and benzoyl peroxide for at least one week prior to your treatment.

    • Discontinue use of aspirin, ibuprofen, and other anti-inflammatory or blood thinning medications for at least 3 days. If you are taking these medications under the direction of a physician, you should consult with them before discontinuing.

    • Tell your provider if you have been on Accutane or another product containing isotretinoin in the last year.

  • Yes! In addition to your face, we can also treat your neck, chest, arms, shoulders, and back with Forever Clear BBL.

Forever Young

Forever Young BBL is a light-based skin therapy that works by delivering precise bursts of light energy into the skin targeting specific structures or pigments which may be causing the skin concern. The light energy is absorbed by the pigment or structures which causes them to break down and be eliminated through the body’s natural process. This treatment also helps the skin look smoother, firmer, and more youthful due to the stimulation of collagen. They are typically done in a series of 3-6 depending on the skin concern being addressed. Treatments are done monthly during the correction phase with maintenance quarterly.

    • Aging Skin

    • Sun Damage

    • Hyper Pigmentation

    • Fine lines & wrinkles

laser hair removal beaverton

Forever Bare BBL

Forever Bare BBL is a light-based hair removal technique that is semi-permanent. It works by delivering energy into the hair follicle, to inhibit the growth of hair. Treatments are done in a series of 6 and usually don’t require maintenance for up to 2 years.

  • During a laser hair removal treatment, a handheld laser device is used to target unwanted hair. A cooling gel may be applied to the skin to help protect it and reduce discomfort. The treatment itself may cause a slight stinging or snapping sensation, but most people find it to be tolerable. The length of a treatment session can vary depending on the size of the area being treated.

  • The treated area may be red and slightly swollen immediately after the procedure, which should only last a few hours. It is recommended to avoid heat, sweating, sun exposure or baths for a few days after treatment to allow the skin to heal.

    • Before your laser hair removal treatment, protect yourself from the sun’s rays with a broad-spectrum SPF sunscreen. Additionally, four to six weeks before your treatment, stay clear of other hair removal methods like plucking and waxing; shaving should be done the day before.
